Hiker sent to hospital after falling into ravine

Guam - It was a dangerous and scary situation for a woman who was hiking in the jungles near the Tanguisson Power Plant in Dededo round 8:30 this morning. According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lieutenant Phil Camacho the woman fell 20 feet into a ravine. Several units responded to rescue her.  The woman was eventually transported at ten o'clock this morning to naval hospital. She was conscious but complaining of pain to her arms and back. A firefighter was injured during the response and was transported to GMH for evaluation. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
