Guam - Due to the recent storms the Guam Homeland Security Office of Civil Defense conducted a training and exercise planning workshop on Tuesday focusing on response and recovery. According to GHS public information officer Jenna Gaminde representatives from GovGuam, military partners, non-profit organizations and the private sector gathered to establish exercise program priorities and update the multi-year training and exercise plan. During the workshop the agency was also recognized for their hardwork during the recent storm activations with the assembly of the Emergency Operations Center and the Joint Information Center.
