Guam - It didn't take long for the jury in the Carl Gargarita murder trial to return a verdict. The jury found him not guilty for murder but guilty on the lesser charge of manslaughter.
Jury deliberations only began today. He was charged with the murder of Anthony Giralao last year during a bar fight over a woman. He pleaded not guilty to the charges contending self defense. According to testimonies heard last week, it was Giralao who initiated the right. The two men exchanged punches before the fight went to the ground. Gargarita testified he used a chokehold on Giralao until he blacked out. Giralao died later at the hospital.
