GPD Investigating Incident Involving Baby

The Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a report of an "injured person". According to acting police spokesperson officer Paul Tapao a two month old baby was injured at a home along Tun Kiko Isabella Loop in Yigo. Tapao said the case is still in the preliminary stage of the investigation.
According to Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Ed Artero medics transported an infant to the Guam Memorial Hospital this afternoon. CPR was conducted enroute. The nursing supervisor confirms the infant passed away.
Even though GPD's press release stated 2-month old KUAM sources confirm the infant was actually 3-months old. The baby boy was found in his car seat in a car outside the Yigo home.
GPD was not available for additional comment.
