Guam – The Government of Guam has switched to recovery mode following Tropical Storm Halon stirring things up in Guam Wednesday. According to the Joint Information Center 95% of the island has power and GPA is working to restore all leftover outages. You can call GPA's hotline for assistance at 475-1472/ 73 or 74. As for water, according to the JIC only one minor water outage was reported from the inclement weather. There were no problems to report with the island's wastewater system. As of 10 this morning normal visiting hours were reinstated at the Guam Memorial Hospital and outpatient elective surgeries also resumed its normal schedule.
