Guam - 25-year-old Jordan Moguel has been released to third-party custodians and placed on house arrest.
During his arraignment today, the court noted the third-party custodians are family members who encouraged Moguel to turn himself him.
Moguel is charged with the vehicular homicide of Michael Poirier along Ypao Road late last month.
He has pleaded not guilty and waived his right to speedy trial.
His next court appearance is August 14.
