Guam - A former math teacher accused of forcing himself on a 6th grade student was convicted in the superior court earlier this week.


Serafin Reyes Pablo was found guilty of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct as a 1st degree felony.


The student reported that the incident occurred back in 2008 when Pablo asked for a hug, closed the door, and locked it. He then reached for her breasts and tried to touch her genital area.


Pablo faces up to 15 years behind bars. His sentencing is scheduled for October.
