For those of you who are shopping for supplies and notice a sudden jump in prices, report it to the Attorney General's Office. The price of items such as non-perishable food items, water, gasoline, batteries, and propane must stay at its fixed price now that we are in COR2 and must stay that way for three days after Guam returns to COR4.

Merchants found violating the law may owe up to three times the amount of gross profits on the goods overcharged. Merchants may also owe up to five times the amount of inflated services and rentals. Price gouging in time of disaster is illegal.

You can report violations to the office of the attorney general. Call (671) 475-3324 or email [email protected]
