One of the men who died in Merizo incident is mayor's nephew

Guam - Medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola confirms he conducted an autopsy this afternoon on the bodies of two men who died after an incident in Merizo last night. According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero firefighters responded to a report of capsized vessel at 10:50pm Sunday.

A total of 4 people were on the boat. Artero said two made it to back to the pier while two other men were transported to the hospital. CPR was conducted en-route. No names have been released for the two who died.  However said they were 31-years-old and 36-years-old.

According to Merizo mayor Ernest Chargualaf one of the men who died was his nephew Benny Flores from Merizo. He added that the group went out on a small boat and that the water was rough.
