Smithsonian hosting workshop linking classrooms to exhibits

The Guam Humanities Council along with The Smithsonian Institution has announced that as part of the exhibit programs currently on display, they are hosting a workshop entitled, "Teaching Methods: Linking the Classroom to Exhibits," on Thursday July 10 through Friday July 11 from 8am-4pm at the second floor gallery space in the Agana Shopping Center.

Guam - The Guam Humanities Council along with The Smithsonian Institution has announced that as part of the exhibit programs currently on display, they are hosting a workshop entitled, "Teaching Methods: Linking the Classroom to Exhibits," on Thursday July 10 through Friday July 11 from 8am-4pm at the second floor gallery space in the Agana Shopping Center.  The two-day workshop will introduce teachers to techniques that can link their classrooms to exhibits and other resources, and will include ways that teachers can integrate lessons from the national exhibit - Journey Stories and the local companion exhibit - Sindalu - Chamorro Journeys in the US Military.
