Guam - The Guam Election Commission is spending the next day validating all the documents and petitions of all 38 individuals who submitted candidate packets. The agency will then present the candidates to the board on Thursday for official certification. On Saturday at 10 in the morning, the GEC will then hold a drawing for ballot placement. There are unofficially 15 Democrats and 16 Republicans running for the Guam Legislature, three candidates for Congress, two for attorney general and one for each party in the gubernatorial race. The primary election meanwhile is set August 30.
