Guam - Don't be surprised if you see an increase in military aircraft flying over island skies. Three squadrons from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa are currently repositioned at Andersen Air Force Base as part of an aviation training relocation mission.


According to news wires, the ATR promotes integration among Pacific air forces units in the region, provide off-station training opportunities for the Kadena Air Base units, and strengthen the Air Force's ability to respond to a potential threat in the region. The training is expected to run through mid-July.
