GCC's Okada takes on new role

Guam - GCC president Dr. Mary Okada has assumed a new role serving as the Pacific colleges representative to the Accrediting Commission for the Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The ACCJC accredits community colleges and other associate degree institutions. Okada was elected by fellow members of the Pacific Post Secondary Education Council and will serve as a representative from July 2014 to June 2017.
