Chalan Santo Papa closing for construction on Friday

Guam - Motorists take note: beginning Friday, June 13th at 6am, Chalan Santo Papa in Hagatna will be closed to public traffic. The road will be closed from The Reflection Center located east of the existing bridge to the Bank of Guam parking lot located on the west side of the existing bridge. According to DPW, the closure is necessary as the contractor will begin the reconstruction of the Agana River Bridge as part of the Agana Bridges Replacement Project. The road will be closed for approximately eight months until the project is completed. Motorists are advised to take Route 7a, Route 4 and Route 8 as alternate routes. Access for local traffic will be accommodated.
