Guam - Senator Dennis Rodriguez, Jr. will be holding another informational briefing on Monday to get an update from insurance commissioner Art Ilagan on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare). Ilagan recently returned from a trip to the nation's capitol last month during which he met with White House officials to once again express concerns about the PPACA's unfunded mandates. Without subsidies afforded to states, Obamacare's requirements to implement market reforms will mean rates will go up locally. Ilagan had previously stated that premiums could increase up to 55%.  The PPACA briefing at the legislature gets underway Monday at 1:30 in the afternoon.
