Rate increase may be possible for GPA customers in August

Guam - Guam Power Authority rate payers may see a three percent increase in thier power bills in August. According to Consolidated Commission on Utilities Chairman Simon Sanchez last night the CCU approved the LEAC increase and will now go to the Public Utilities Commission for approval. Sanchez adds that the increase will be no more than what rate payers were paying for power in August of 2011.
