Guam - An officer certified in taser uses the taser to subdue a man attempting to commit suicide by cop.

According to Guam police department spokesperson officer AJ Balajadia, police responded to Sagan Linaya park dollar housing in Astumbo Thursday night where a man was reportedly waving a gun. When officers reported to the scene the individual told officers he wanted them to shoot him. Using a taser the man was subdued without resistance. The man was identified as the same person in 2009 who officers encountered with a knife at Vicente Benavente middle school. The individual was referred to the guam behavioral and wellness center for 72-hour hold.
