Guam - It was nearly a month ago when Senator Tina Muna Barnes wrote a letter to Veterans Affairs director John Unpincgo detailing a myriad of concerns that she now says have been remedied.

However Unpingco stated this is not the case and that Barnes' letter was based on an erroneous report. At this point the toilets, and the telephone issues have been resolved. Unpingco states that he has sent a letter to Barnes notifying her that some issues still need to be resolved. He is concerned with the sewer line connection to the VA building and the possibility that it may have been hooked up illegally. Adding that while the air conditioning units have been cleaned there are some that need replacement. He further states that the agencies Barnes says were responsible for the repairs were in fact not responsible instead he says two businesses owned by veterans took it upon themselves to make the needed repairs.
