Suspicious Package Under Investigation

Guam - According to Guam Homeland Security/ Office of Civil Defense Spokesperson Alyssa Benito at 7:30 Saturday evening, 911 Dispatch received a call by an unidentified caller stating," three bombs" will be set off at a pavilion in Astumbo Gardens, Dededo. Benito adds that while GPD was conducting their assessment they confirmed that a suspicious package was found at one of the pavillions.  She added that EOD DET Marianas has been notified and is enroute. 

Dededo Vice Mayor Peter Benavente says the suspicious package was found in Sagan Linayan, Dededo. He says close to 100 families who live nearby have been evacuated as a safety precaution. Emergency response officials are waiting for the arrival of EOD team.
