Guam - GFD issued a stop order and notice of hazard to Guam Cleaning Masters for a fire that ignited at a composting site in Agafa Gumas a few weeks ago, as the company operates the site.
As we previously reported, initial assessments of the site lead investigators to believe the fire was intentionally set. Before the company can resume operations, they need to create a 20 foot fire break around the entire compound. Although the company has a 5,000 gallon water bag and water pump, they must have a generator to ensure its operation in the event of an emergency. Until all conditions are met they are not to receive any green waste or lumber.
