Calvo orders release of $2.9M from Recycling Revolving Fund

Guam - Do you have old furniture or broken appliances you just haven't gotten around to getting rid of? Curbside pickups could soon be in the future this after Governor Eddie Calvo this morning ordered the release of $2.9 million to go to mayors. The money is from the Recycling Revolving Fund. Guam EPA will be working with the Mayors Council of Guam to determine how to the money will be spent. It could include the investment into heavy equipment such as bulldozers which will help clean illegal dumpsites and can be used for any number of projects to improve neighborhoods.
