Guam - As part of Law Week festivities, Joaquin Arriola Sr. was recognized today with the Hustisia Award for his contributions to improving the administration of justice and good government.

Arriola's legal career spans close to 60 years where he's served as speaker for the 9th and 10th Guam Legislatures, as counsel to the Guam Legislature, the Guam Power Authority, the Guam Economic Authority, and even as an associate justice pro tempore for the Guam Supreme Court.

Today, Arriola continues to practice law as the founding partner of Arriola, Cowan & Arriola.
