Women arrested for attempted purse snatching

Guam - Two women were arrested Tuesday night for an attempted purse snatching in Tumon.

According to Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia, the attempted robbery occurred just outside the entrance of Hilton Hotel. Following an all points bulletin of the suspect and the getaway vehicle, police arrested Renee Munoz who was positively identified by the victim as well as Cynthnia Meno who was riding in the passenger's seat.

Munoz was charged with third degree attempted robbery, assault, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Meno was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, guilt established by complicity and criminal facilitation. Both were booked and confined.
