Guam - Honoring the miracle workers of the health industry, Governor Eddie Calvo proclaimed May as Guam Nurses Month. Before two dozen nurses and healthcare professionals from the public, private and federal sector, Governor Calvo signed the proclamation urging the people of Guam to thank those nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty everyday. Several activities are planned for this month including a nursing conference, a health fair and an awards banquet.
