Guam - The joint investigation as to what sparked a fire at a composting site in Yigo over the weekend continues. According to Guam Environmental Protection Agency administrator Eric Palacios, his staff are in contact with Guam Cleaning Masters who are permitted to conduct composting on the site.
"I know that our solid waste team at the agency continues this morning to reach out to them you know they are part of the investigative process at this point both with EPA and the fire department," he said.
As we reported on Monday, initial assessments lead investigators to believe the fire was intentionally set.
As of this afternoon, Guam Cleaning Masters declined to comment on the matter.
