Guam - The second wave of mass screenings for tuberculosis continued at the Department of Corrections today.

According to spokesperson Jeff Limo, as of this afternoon 52 inmates were tested and 30 staff.

As we've been reporting, a pre-trial detainee tested positive for active TB prompting the mass screening. Limo confirms although nine individuals tested as positive reactors, their chest x-rays were cleared.

Meanwhile, the individual remains at the Guam Memorial Hospital in isolation for treatment.
