Guam - The condition of the Yona man who was stabbed in the back last week has improved.

According to Guam Memorial Hospital nursing supervisor Josie Zamora, the patient remains in the Intensive Care Unit but in stable condition.

As we've been reporting, the 61-year-old victim claims his 27-year-old girlfriend Bouleen Mikuo, also known as Paulyn Misao, stabbed him in his sleep.

While on the scene, police discovered a thirteen inch butcher knife in the victim's front yard.

Misao is being held on $500,000 cash bail charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
