Guam - Law Day and Law Week officially kick off today with a resolution and proclamation signing at the Supreme Court of Guam.
This year's theme, "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters" increases awareness on why the right to vote equates to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Law week events include open house tours of the Judiciary from April 29 to May 8, the State of the Judiciary Address on May 1, and a law fair at the Micronesia Mall on May 3.
