Guam - Performing for troops that serve our country is no new endeavor for Hawaii song legend Henry Kapono and his band. Showing his gratitude for the service that the 600 Guam Army National Guard soldiers who have recently returned from operations in Afghanistan, Kapono will be performing at the Guam Island Micronesian Fair and has a special tribute in store.
"I think having this celebration is deserving of them and for all that they did do and I', proud to be a part of this whole event," said Kapono.
Kapono and his band will be performing from 3pm to 7 pm at the Joseph Flores Memorial Park on Saturday as part of the Hero's Welcome Home ceremony. Residents are encouraged to attend and show their gratitude to our men and women in service.
