Guam - Senator Michael San Nicolas has introduced legislation that would combine proposals from both Vice Speaker BJ Cruz and the Republican senators. Today, he introduced Bill 322 to raise the minimum wage $0.95 per year for three years and lowers the business privilege tax to 3.8%. San Nicolas says this measure answer's Governor Calvo's call to compromise adding when both parties and both branches of government work together, "we can all win." he says the compromise will help both our businesses and the hard workers that make them successful. We should note the Republicans have yet to introduce their measure but Senator Tommy Morrison says they plan to do it next week.

KUAM News spoke to Senator Chris Duenas, who said "it's unfortunate that Senator San Nicolas to steal on Good Friday". He added that the Republican minority will issue a statement on Monday.
