Woman killed in Tamuning crash identified

The island's third traffic related fatality for 2014 has been identified as 74-year-old Maria Santos Miranda.

Guam - The island's third traffic related fatality for 2014 has been identified as 74-year-old Maria Santos Miranda.

Medical Examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola says the woman sustained head injuries that produced subdural hematoma.

The woman died early Thursday morning following a car accident on Saturday. Police reports state she was riding in the backseat of a 2009 Nissan Sentra when the driver collided with a 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor in Tamuning.
