Guam - In line with Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month, this week is also Crime Victims Rights Week. And today the Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence spoke before the Rotary Club of Guam on the role the organization plays in our community.

Project coordinator Mary Kate Donnell said, "The message that we're trying to send out this month is 'No more' - we stand, Guam stands against sexual assault and domestic violence and that's the message we do is educational awareness, preventive measure and how to even recognize the signs and all that stuff have that available it's more a community outreach."

She adds while the coalition is not a first responder, it does ally with several government agencies, non-profit organizations and the military. For more information on the coalition or help resources log on to GuamCoalition.org or GuamServices.org.
