Guam - Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense are monitoring a tsunami that generated as a result of an 8.2 earthquake that struck off the coast of Chile today. The earthquake triggered landslides that blocked highways and led to five deaths. Officials said the dead included people who were crushed by collapsing walls or were killed by heart attacks. The pacific tsunami warning center said the quake generated a large tsunami with the biggest wave reported at 2.3 meters.   But again there are no watches or warnings in effect for Guam.
