Abortion brochures printed

Guam - The Department of Public Health has completed printing information booklets mandated by the Women's Reproductive Health Information Act.  By law doctors who provide abortion services must provide patients these brochures so that they can make an informed decision. After the patient receives the information the physician must wait 24 hours before an abortion can be performed. A doctor who performs an abortion without a woman's informed consent may be liable for her damages in a civil action.
