Guam - One of the nation's leading fast-food hamburger chains is set to open on Guam this year. According to Century 21 Realty Management principal broker Christopher Felix, Jack in the Box franchise officials from Hawaii had contacted him over a year ago for possible locations on Guam.

Felix says IP&E and Shell will be handling the restaurants with three possible locations throughout the island proposed for a 24-hour a day operation. He says the locations are set for Dededo across Bank of Hawaii where a new Shell gas station is also being built, one in Tamuning near Shell across John F. Kennedy High School; and one in Barrigada on Route 8 at the Shell station. Owner Chris Scanlon from Hawaii also operates Jamba Juice and Dunkin Donuts.

Jack in the Box is set to open in the next six to eight months. A job announcement has already been published on Guam looking for restaurant management.
