Guam - Ice cream products, popsicles, fruit bars and cups that made it to Guam stores under the brand Names Helados La Tapatia and Icestations have been recalled.

According to a release on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website, the California company voluntarily recalled the products due to a possible health risk from listeria monocytogenes. Listera infection may cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems.

Short-term symptoms may include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. No illnesses have been reported to date.
