Guam - Information pamphlets regarding abortions will be printed next week.  By law physicians who provide abortion services must provide women the brochure to make an informed decision.  According to Public Health director James Gillan 60 days after printing the law will take effect and physicians found not complying will be fined.

"This is a very serious decision and I think a woman maybe should just take another 24 hour to think about what going to happen with this. the information in the booklet talks about things like there is adoption there's foster care there's a right for the woman to get child support," he explained.

Gillan says his department will reach out to physicians who provide abortion services to ensure they receive the booklets and information.
