Democrats continue listening tour through villages
Guam - The Democrats quest for a gubernatorial team continues as the party continues to engage in its listening tour in the villages with a meeting set for Wednesday in Yigo. Party chairman Rory Respicio told KUAM News, "We have a meeting tomorrow night in Yigo and what we've been doing as a democratic party is we've been having literally hundreds of conversations with people to talk about the not only how their lives have been affected over the last three years but the kind of leadership they'd like to have that may or may not be an alternative to this administration."
As for who are the party's slate of candidates running for the legislature, Respicio says he's heard all nine incumbents will run along with former Senators Adolpho Palacios and Judi Guthertz showing interest as well. He says while several other names have been mentioned, he does not want to be the one to announce it for them.
