Guam - The Governor's Office announced today that close to 7,500 new acres of unregistered government land has been identified and will be leased by the Chamorro Land Trust Commission. The transfer of properties to the Government of Guam is anticipated through the land registration process.

Once finalized, the land will be decreed to the Department of Land Management which would then enable CLTC to survey the lots, install easements, place infrastructure and then lease the lots.

In the meantime, Land Management is compiling a map of GovGuam easements surrounding CLTC's current and future properties in an effort to obtain permits from regulatory agencies.
