Guam - Christine Janelle Lizama will serve no additional jail time for embezzling thousands of dollars from different Bank of Guam customer accounts. Lizama appeared for a sentencing hearing today in the District Court.  The 22-year-old told the judge that she felt pressured to help her parents, who were unemployed, with their bills but also admitted using the money to shop and eat out.

The judge noted that Lizama was a thief and pretty savvy as she went into personal bank accounts with large balances and then stole money by using the customers signature on their application card to obtain it.

She was ordered to pay $6,000 in restitution and perform 50 hours of community service.
