Elderly woman pulled from Tumon water dies in hospital

Guam - A woman believed to be in her 70's died after she was pulled from the waters of Tumon two days ago. According to Guam Memorial Hospital spokesperson June Perez, the tourist passed away early this morning. Tuesday afternoon firefighters were performing CPR on the woman as she was being transported to the hospital.

Currently, Guam is under a High Surf and Small Craft Advisory until this Friday. Residents are warned to stay out of the water because rip currents are life threatening.
