Resolution presented to Japanese high school

Guam - Senator Tina Muna Barnes presented a resolution to the principal, teachers and students of Ritsumeikan High School in Japan. Over 50 Japanese students are visiting Guam to honor and pay respect to the victims of World War II. They visited various World War II sites in the territory including the War in the Pacific National Park, Ga'a Point in Agat, the Merizo massacre sites, the Mannengon memorial site in Yona and the South Pacific Memorial Park in Yigo. The resolution also recognized U.S. Explore and Study Inc. for their work on the project.
