Magellan's landing reenacted in Umatac

Guam - As we commemorate Chamorro Month, what a better way to do it than to head to the village of Umatac. Over the weekend and today they held their annual Discovery Day celebrations, which features cultural performances and a heritage walking tour. Youth from the village are taking visitors to six historic sites in the village. There's also the reenactment of the landing of Magellan.

If you weren't able to make it this past weekend, the celebrations continue this Saturday and Sunday, there's lot of food and fun for the entire family. So make sure to check it out.
