Man arrested for failing to declare large quantity of cash

Guam - Customs officers discovered a passenger in possession of more than $11,000 in suspected counterfeit money. According to court documents, during a secondary inspection of a man who came from Vietnam through Manila, Customs officers found one hundred and sixteen $100 bills.
Garizalde Pajela Desamito was charged with unsworn falsification for failing to disclose that he was in possession of more than $10,000 in currency, which is required by law. An investigation is underway to determine if the money is, in fact, bogus.
