Guam - Airport rescue firefighters and airport police officers can expect to receive their retro pay in March.

In the last fiscal year, the Guam International Airport Authority soared in revenues with a $7.3 million increase than the prior year. Questions had been raised about when the airport's law enforcement personnel would receive their full back pay compensation.  GIAA executive manager Chuck Ada says the airport law enforcement personnel are currently being compensated based on the 40% adjustment and officials are currently assessing the back pay that is due at this level of pay.  The checks are expected to be distributed next month.
