Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority is calling on local engineering firms for its upcoming design bid for the Agat/Santa Rita Wastewater Treatment Plant replacement project. GWA chief engineer Tom Cruz says replacing the current treatment plant will better meet the future wastewater loading requirements for the Agat and Santa Rita villages.
The procurement process for the engineering services is expected to start in early March with the intent to issue notice to proceed in 60 days. The project is the first as part of a $100 million plan for wastewater improvements.
