Guam - Following up on last year's announcement by then-DOD deputy secretary Ashton Carter that another Los Angeles Class submarine would be postured in Guam, today the U.S. Navy announced that the USS Topeka will change homeports and move to Naval Base Guam.

Topeka has a crew of approximately 15 officers and 155 enlisted sailors. The submarine as the capability to launch Tomahawk cruise missiles and boasts an integrated combat systems suite.
