Workshops ongoing for recently-returned soldiers

The U.S. Department of Labor has teamed up with the Guam National Guard's Keep Your Guard Up campaign to conduct workshops for soldiers.

Guam - The U.S. Department of Labor has teamed up with the Guam National Guard's Keep Your Guard Up campaign to conduct workshops for soldiers. With the focus on underemployed soldiers the first training session is currently underway providing training in areas that will help them identify and secure a job such as career exploration and validation, building effective resumes, federal programs, hiring and applying and skilled interviewing. A second session focusing on close to 200 unemployed soldiers will begin tomorrow through Friday at the Sheraton from 8 to 5pm.
