GMH celebrates renovations to viewing room

Guam - A dedication ceremony was held this morning to commemorate the completion of renovations of the Guam Memorial Hospital's viewing room.   The project was spearheaded by the GMH Volunteers Association through their donor families of Dr. Stephen Akimoto and Jose and Dolores Bello.  

Hospital administrator Joseph Verga said, "On those very sad occasions despite all the heroic efforts of all our great professionals it is very comforting and unique to see a room dedicated to the healing of the spirit."

The project included the installation of new flooring, and new seats compliments of the Pacific Islands Club Resort.
