Guam - The trial of three Public Works employees has been delayed yet again. Former DPW chief engineer Liberty Perez, Josephine Torres, and Ariel Evarola was scheduled to begin next month but was pushed back because one of the defense attorneys needs to go off island for medical treatment.

The three are accused of falsifying records in order to obtain more than $5,000 in overtime compensation for work the feds contend they never actually performed on federally funded projects.

A fourth co-defendant, Danilo Galiza, pleaded guilty to the charges.

The trial was pushed back until the end of March.
